Keen to keep the carbon footprint of the Wrappers down, the sewing is done in Scotland with the help the Inmates at Kilmarnock Prison. This initiative gives the men a 6 week block of work which awards them an SQA qualification in Industrial Sewing. As well as learning skills and gaining a valuable qualification, they also get paid for their work: giving them a sense of worth. By keeping them made locally we can dramatically reduce our carbon footprint.

The next phase, which is in progress, is making the Wrappers out of recycled fabric. Thus reducing landfill and re-purposing fabric. If you have any old shirts or sheets etc - please do get in contact.
